BCI Sensors has delivered the 14th Weather Extractor Computer (WEC) package to the US Navy.  The WEC is an integrated weather radar processor and network display system for the US Navy's SPS-48E radar as part of the AN/UMR-1 meteorological processor system.  To date, UMR-1 systems have been installed on eight CVN and L-class ships, with two more ships slated for installations before October 2011.
